In one of the remote villages at the foothills of Skatay Range, lived a Veena girl named Anastasia. Together with her 4 sisters, she grew up in a small home. As Anastasia grew up her mother showed her how to hunt, but when she was 8 years old, her mother died of old age. After her mother died, an adoptive family provided her and her sisters some more training, as well as helped her raise her up.
During her childhood, she had a modest living with her adoptive family and sisters. She also had some close Veena girlfriends and lived a typical ordinary childhood. Always playing with them, practicing and mentoring each other’s hunting skills.
When she was 13 years old, a foreign stranger stumbled into their village. At first, the stranger was closely watched and was forbidden to do anything without a guard watching. This stranger, a female Dancer, was later regarded as a friend to Anastasia’s village and performed several plays to give thanks to their hospitality. After seeing several performances, Anastasia knew from the bottom of her heart that she wanted to explore the world and do the same thing as the foreign Dancer. For the next year, Anastasia trained alongside with the Dancer and after she has completed her training, the Dancer went off to continue showing joy in the world.
When she was 16 years old, Anastasia decided to leave her little village and venture off to continue her dancing career with the rest of the world. Before she left, one of her relatives had given her a stipend that was accumulated during her training with the foreign Dancer. For a few years, she was making her Gil with her performances. Little did she know, she was being watched from afar.
Later in the same year, as Anastasia was travelling in between towns, something big flew behind her and snatched her up. The sudden snatch caused her to fall unconscious and when she awoke, she was in a damp cave filled with treasure. She looked around the cave until she saw a pair of large eyes fixated on her. Those eyes belonged to Zythas, a lost dragon of Midgardsomer’s brood. He told Anastasia that’s she’s welcomed to leave the cave, at the cost of her life. So he forcibly provided her with the option of servitude under him. Anastasia sensed that Zythas was very strong, thanks to her hunting skills, and she can’t take him down on her own. So she unwillingly accepted his offer.
Throughout the years, Zythas has forced Anastasia to do excruciating labor. It wasn’t long until she broke under the servitude that she became completely obedient to Zythas. She was too far broken to the point where she was even afraid to speak out of turn or his name, for fearing she would invoke his wrath. It wasn’t until she turned 21, that a group of adventurers received a Hunt order to kill Zythas. After a fearsome battle, the adventures were victories. But to their dismay, Anastasia stayed docile and hardly spoke, even after she was rescued and brought back to a nearby village.
As the years past on, Anastasia was still docile, but at least she’s interacting with the villagers that took her in. Later on, she decided to leave the village and try to restart her life. Thus renewing the story of Anastasia…...
